Corporate Social Responsibility Program (CSR)

Aceh Tengah and Lintong- Sumatra - Indonesia - December, 2011

With the collaboration of private industries and local goverment in Indonesia, Royal Pacific Industry is organizing annual charity event in two of the public schools in Aceh and Sidikalang areas. The public schools are located within the vicinity of the coffee plantation where some of our coffees are coming from.

During this event, we will provide school supplies (backpack, books, pencils, and other misc. items) and supplemental nutrition for all students in the elementary school. The goal is to participate in improving education for future generation of Indonesians that leads to better and higher living standard through the coffee industry. In addition, we would like to show our gratitude for all the farmers that have been supporting our company over the years.

One of the public schools we selected is Min Kerawat school. It's located in desa kerawat, kecamatan lut tawar, kabupaten Aceh tengah, Aceh, Indonesia.

Second school is SD Negeri (translated as Public Elementary) #030300.It's located in pancuran, kecamatan Sidikalang, Kabupaten Dairi, Sumatra Utara (North Sumatra), Indonesia.  

This is our second year charity event, and we are hoping to learn more about what we can do to improve the living standard in coffee production area, particularly for the young generation. Our mission is to organize more corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects to benefit the public in Indonesia through the coffee business.
